After birth, your trained consultant will extract the sample, and place it back into the collection kit.

Your baby's sample is then cryo- genically frozen in the vapour phase of liquid nitrogen, stored in different tanks in over 6 to 8 compartments.

Last week we have received email from the UK facility that our sample is perfect and has been stored for 30 years. One of the greatest advantages of storing your child’s stem cells is that it can be preserved for many years. The process is extremely easy – after signing the contract you receive the “collection kit”, straight after birth your doctor is collecting the samples from your baby’s umbilical cord and put them back into the collection kit, then your sample is collected from the hospital and shipped to the UK storage facility.

I would answer to the most common question about stem cells banking and why did I choose Future Health BioBank:⠀
Why it’s important? Your baby’s umbilical cord blood is a rich source of precious stem cells. Currently, cord blood stem cells are being used to manage cancerous blood disorders such as leukaemia, blood conditions like Fanconi anaemia and much more.
